The Zantac did help some, but it's not relieving all of his symptoms, the poor guy. So I called the doctor again today and she agreed to switch him to Prilosec (which is what worked for Nolan). When the boys wake up from their naps we'll go pick it up. I really hope that it works so that
a. William isn't in pain anymore
b. he starts nursing better
c. he starts gaining weight again
So keep your fingers crossed that it will help!
On a totally different note, Nolan is very happily sleeping in a "bed." We took down the front rail of his crib so he is now sleeping in a converted toddler bed. He is doing really well with it and is loving it! Although he has fallen out of bed the last few nights, but didn't wake up from it. Jason and I just pick him up and put him back in bed. The mattress is very close to the floor, and we put the changing table pad on the floor next to the crib, so he falls onto that. One of Nolan's new favorite things is to turn his sound machine on, lay in bed and cover himself with a blanket, and say, "night night me." He also says "shleep (sleep) me" and "more shleep". It's so cute!
Nolan also feels like a big boy because he now eats at the table with us in a booster seat. He is so thrilled about these new changes.
