It's so hard to believe that William will be one month old on Sunday. He is growing too fast! Time needs to slow down. Things are going really well. Last week was my first week home with both boys, and it was busy, but pretty good! Nolan is adjusting very well. He still loves William and will hug him, kiss him, give him books to read. He is very patient when I have to nurse or deal with William being fussy. Nolan is so independent, so he will busy himself with books, toys, tv, or apps on my iphone. There are times, of course, when jealousy comes out, but Nolan is adjusting very well to being a big brother!
William is still such a sweet, calm baby. He takes many naps throughout the day. He's great about napping in the bouncer chair or pack n play. He also loves to nap in our arms, of course. He gets a lot of that after Nolan goes to bed, but also throughout the day. When he gets fussy (usually in the evening), it helps to swaddle him. That really calms him down.
William is officially smiling and cooing now! He started smiling for real when he turned 3 weeks last Friday. Just this morning he started talking and cooing. It is so sweet! There is a video below.
Here is the usual montage of pictures, in backwards order since they're uploaded from my phone.
